Kaylee's closet

I bought Kaylee's closet (from Some Odd Girl) a while ago and finally got around to inking it up.  I also tried my hand at paper piecing after seeing Kristy's video.  I loved playing  with this stamp set.  Here is the card I made.  I think it needs some flowers or other embellishments added, it just looks unfinished.
I used these copics
Hair E50, E51, E53
Skin E000, E00, E11, E93
Shoes RV000, RV00, RV02
Eyes B0000, B000, B00
Shadows BV0000, BV00

I am entering it in Some Odd Girl sketch challenge.
Hope everyone has a wonderful New Years.

Christmas Angels

I hope your festive season has been merry so far.  Today I am sharing with you the front cover of my December Daily,  if you haven't heard of December Daily here is some information about it here and here.  There is heaps of stuff on Pinterest and the net too.  If you look inside my December Daily you would see nothing nothing at all, but I have taken photos and jotted down notes for each day.  Which I am sure counts.

I have of course used another one of Krista Smith's Christmas images - Christmas Angel available at Saturated Canary.  She has been coloured with these copics
Hair - E53, E51, E50
Skin - E11, E00, E000, E93

Shoes C9, C7, C5, C3
Grey bauble C3, C2, C1

My eldest daughter loved this Christmas Angel so she coloured one for me.  It is in a frame next to my desk. I'm not sure what copics she used.  I think she did a wonderful job.

Christmas Elves

Merry Christmas
I am scheduling this post as I know that the next few weeks will be super busy.
Are you counting down the sleeps at your house?

Santa left an Elf on the Shelf at our house which was super exciting - considering there aren't that many in Australia.  After we debated about names the girls agreed to call him Sparkle.  Which seems fitting because our house is always full of glitter.  Even with Sparkle reporting to Santa,  Meg was too excited to sleep she was full of questions.  How far is it to the North Pole?  Considering it was after bed time I told her we would get the map out tomorrow and have a look.  She also wondered how fast Sparkle would have to fly to get to the North Pole and back while she was asleep?....hmm this may require a bit more math skills but I told her we would work it out tomorrow.  Or at least we will attempt to work it out.
In the spirit of Christmas elves I thought I would share with you this Christmas card featuring Spritz (from Saturated Canary)
He is coloured with the following copics (available at Mad for Markers)
Skin E000, E00. E11, E93
Hair E50, E51, E53
Reds R20, R24, R27, R29
Greens G20, G24, G28
Gold spica and crystalina Kindy Glitz

If you have created something Christmasy with your copics head over to Mad for Markers Challenge Blog and enter in the December challenge.

Wishing you all a safe and merry Christmas

Roller Derby

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend.  Today I thought I'd share a bit about me I am quiet, shy, well mannered and honest with strong opinions, which I sometimes share.  I enjoy being lady like as well as digging in the garden. I'm crafty, I bake and like photography.  I adore chivalry...yes I like to think of myself as an independent woman but I still love having the door opened for me.  I also love Roller derby.

Last weekend I had my first assessment for roller derby. 12 weeks ago I started the fresh meat course, I loved skating as a kid/teenager and thought it would be something fun to do.  I was a little dubious as I had seen some of these girls play roller derby and they looked a little scary what I discovered was that they're not, they are just a bunch of normal girls and a few guys who are very fit and love to skate.  I spent 12 weeks feeling muscles I haven't felt before...EVER!  And sweated more than I knew was possible.  We started out with 15 freshies and at the end there were 8 of us who completed our assessment we all passed and are now bronze stars.  Congrats to my fellow Freshies!

I made a little card to thank our trainer who was so super patient (she never gave up on me), and always encouraged all of us to do our best no matter what our skills.  I hope we made her proud.  Thank you Lynda.

The card features Rollerskating Zombie a digi from Saturated Canary coloured with copics.
