Happy Birthday Mum

It was my Mum's birthday yesterday.  My Mum is a beautiful lady she is an amazing artist, she is crafty, honest and smart.  She loves cooking and to travel.  I made her this card as she would love to go to Paris.  I did not inherit my Mum's artistic talent so please excuse the background on the card (this is something I need to learn how to do).    Happy Birthday Mum I hope it was an enjoyable one.
I used:
Digital images Evelyn from Little Miss Muffet Stamps, Eiffel Tower from Make It Crafty
Copics all from Mad for Markers,
Background - BOO, G20, G24
Skin - E00, E11
Hair - E35, E50.

Okay I am a Harry Potter Fan I have read all the books and have seen the movies.  I was thrilled to learn that J.K. Rowling is writing another novel this one is for adults and is supposed to be very different to the Harry Potter series, I for one will be checking that out when it is released.  I think these images of Ron, Harry and Hermione from Tiddly Inks are the sweetest.  I decided to make this card gender neutral.

Monochromatic Gonna Miss You

I have never coloured a card with just one colour before so this is something new.  I thought the monochromatic colouring would really suit a vintage style card but I just had to add a hint of green and pink to the roses on her hat. I completed this card for two challenges :
Mad for Markers Monochromatic March
Tiddly Inks Fabric Fun

I used
Copics from Mad for Markers  C9, C7, C5, C3, C2, C1, 0, G24, G20, R83, R85
Digi Stamp from Tiddly Inks Aida Gonna Miss You
Paper from Kaisercraft Timeless Collection
The following embellishments are from Wild Orchid Crafts: Guipure white lace, Vintage seam binding in pink tulip, Mulberry paper roses and White Pearl Spray.
